About the Moyer Prune:

The parent of the Moyer , Brooks, is a long-time favorite in Western Oregon. Oval shaped fruit with purplish-black skin and yellow flesh.  The purple-black of the skin bleeds in to the flesh.  Larger and sweeter than Italian.  It is reported that the Moyer is sweeter than the Brooks.  Used fresh and for canning and drying. Ripens one week earlier than Italian.  Self-fruitful.
